You can post distances to a challenge in The Conqueror Challenges App manually, or via a connected app (Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, Strava, Garmin, Adidas Running, RunKeeper, or Map My Run/Ride).

How to manually post a distance:

  1. Open The Conqueror Challenges App.

  2. In the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, tap the post distance icon on the left.

  3. Enter your distance or steps.

  4. Select the activity type and date. (All activities are distance based, except for steps. You can also find our activity conversion chart here.)

  5. Add a comment and/or photo (optional).

  6. Tap on the challenge(s) you want to post the distance to. If you're completing more than one challenge, the other challenges will be toggled off (greyed out).

  7. Tap post.

  8. Confirm the details are correct.

Step-by-step guide:

How to post a distance via a connected app (Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, Strava, Garmin, Adidas Running, RunKeeper, or Map My Run/Ride):

  1. In the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, tap the menu icon on the right.

  2. Tap settings.

  3. Tap connections.

  4. Connect to your chosen app.

  5. Go back to settings.

  6. Tap posting preferences.

  7. Select the challenge you want to post the distance to.

  8. Tick the sources (devices/apps) you used to track your activity/distance. If you are completing one challenge, tap all sources (default).

A note on posting distances manually:

The information you've entered won't instantly appear on The Conqueror Challenges App. Data from Fitbit, Garmin, and Apple Health will appear on The Conqueror App at midnight. You'll see this progress in your app when you start moving in the morning ... so checking it from bed in the morning might not work!

How to view a posted distance before midnight (semi-automatic posting):

If you have a Fitbit, Garmin, Apple Health, or Google Fit device, this feature will enable you to view the distances you post before midnight.

  1. Open The Conqueror Challenges App.

  2. In the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, tap the post distance icon on the left.

  3. Under the post a distance tab is a list of your connected apps/devices. Tap on the app/device you used to track your distance.

  4. Enter the distance/steps.

  5. Add a comment and/or photo (optional).

  6. Tap on the challenge(s) you want to post the distance to. If you're completing more than one challenge, the other challenges will be toggled off (greyed out).

  7. Tap post.

  8. Confirm the details are correct.

Notes on semi-automatic posting and connections:

  • Don't force shut The Conqueror Challenges App while using a connected app. Third-party apps require The Conqueror Challenges App to be running in the background in order to send data. If the app is forced shut, the data will not sync and the midnight posts won't happen.

  • If your Fitbit isn't syncing, open the Fitbit app and refresh it to send data.
