Before you begin, you'll need:

  • An iPhone with Apple Health enabled and running iOS v 12.4 or later versions of iOS software.

  • The latest version of The Conqueror Challenges App.

If you're also using an Apple Watch, your data will be added to The Conqueror App via Apple Health. You can manage the data posted to each challenge by following our step-by-step guide here.

A note on Apple Health Workouts

Any cycling that is entered into Apple Health (via an Apple Watch workout or from another app) can be used as a Conqueror distance. It will also show as a separate pending distance that you can post manually by following the steps below.

Any other distance workout that you intentionally record on your Apple Watch (by tapping the workout icon), will post to your challenge once you have completed your workout. Your watch will sync with your phone and the Conqueror App, as long as your posting preferences are set correctly. Read our how-to guide for posting workout preferences.

How to connect to Apple Health:

  1. Open The Conqueror Challenges App.

  2. In the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, tap the menu icon on the right.

  3. Tap settings, then tap connections.

  4. On the connection page, tap the connect button under Apple Health.

  5. On the manage Apple Health page, tap Connect with Apple Health.

  6. Toggle on ALL four options, otherwise the connection may not work. Tap allow in the top right corner of the screen.

In the post a distance page, you'll see your current daily distance. Steps and cycling will show as pending.

Step-by-step guide:

How to post pending Apple Health steps:

Daily steps and cycling workouts (but not other workouts) can be posted more regularly than every 24 hours, by using the semi-automated posting feature.

  1. In the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, tap the post a distance icon on the left.

  2. Tap the Apple Health Walking + Running box. The distance shown here should reflect what you see in Apple Health (see the example below).

  3. Add a photo/comment if you wish. Select the mission(s) to post it to.

  4. Tap post.

  5. Check the details and tap confirm.

You will now see the activity post, and that the pending distance reads 0.0mi/km.
